Atheneum Books for Young Readers has announced plans to publish a seventh Olivia title from author Ian Falconer. The new book,
Olivia and the Fairy Princesses, is slated to be released in fall 2012. It will be edited by Atheneum executive editor Namrata Tripathi.

Originally created as a gift for his niece Olivia, Falconer's children's book
Olivia was first published in October 2000. More than six million of Falconer's Olivia books have been sold.
Olivia also debuted in 2009 on Nickelodeon as a television series.
