Publisher's Weekly reports
that Skyhorse Publishing has bought Allworth Press. Skyhorse has been in a buying mood lately; it purchased the assets of Arcade Publishing earlier this years. The terms of the Allworth deal were not disclosed.
Allworth has been in business since 1989 and has a backlist of more than 300 titles. The publishing house was founded by Tad Crwford, and focuses on self-help and business titles. Skyhorse will increase the number of titles
Allworth publishes year to around 50 by 2012. Tad Crawford will stay on as publisher and most of the staff will be staying.
