Chris Colfer Signs Three Book Deal With Little, Brown

Author and Glee star Chris Colfer has signed a three book deal with Little, Brown. The deal includes two more books in the bestselling Land of Stories series and a debut picture book with Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. Colfer's book, The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell, debuted at the top of The New York Times children's bestseller list in August 2012.

Book three in Land of Stories will be released in fall 2014. The fourth book will be published in 2015. Colfer's new children's picture book is called The Curvy Tree. It will be illustrated by Brandon Dorman and published in spring 2015. The Curvy Tree is based on tale in The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell.

Colfer said in a statement, "The Land of Stories has been an incredible journey for me as a writer, and I am so happy the series has a home at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. The fan support and love for these characters has been more than a dream come true-I'm humbled and excited to be able to share these new adventures with my readers."
