Matt Groening to Publish Book About The Simpsons in September

Matt Groening, the creator and executive producer of The Simpsons, will publish The Simpsons Family History, in September 2014. The book will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the popular animated series.

The Simpsons holds the records for the longest running animated, sitcom, primetime and scripted television series.

Abrams Books says The Simpsons Family History is presented in a chronological format. It includes 25 years of Simpsons facts. The book also shares the hopes and dreams of a young Homer Simpson before he married Marge. The book also reveals what Marge was like before she married Homer. The hardcover, large-format book contains 400 color illustrations, including artwork from the series.
