Ricki Lake Memoir Coming in 2012

Atria Books has announced it will publish a memoir by Ricki Lake in 2012. Ricki will discuss her life as a celebrity in the yet-to-be-titled memoir. Atria says Ricki will also discuss the lessons she has learned and the inner peace that has come from her celebrity journey.

Ricki says, "For more than 20 years, it has been a thrill for me to connect with audiences by being open in discussing my life experiences. This memoir gives me an exciting opportunity to share my story – dark parts of the past and the joy of where they have led me - in an even more intimate and revealing way."

Ricki Lake will also discuss her battle with food issues and weight problems as well as her brutal divorce in the memoir.
