Simon & Schuster to Publish Linda Ronstadt's Memoir

Simon & Schuster has announced it will publish Linda Ronstadt's memoir, Heart Like a Wheel. The album is named after the eleven-time Grammy Award-winning singer's fifth album, which included the hit song, "Desperado." The publication date is tentatively scheduled for 2013.

Simon & Schuster says the book will trace Rondstadt's rise in the music industry and her career as s trail-blazing woman in contemporary music. Linda Rondstadt has sold over 100 million records worldwide.

Jonathan Karp, Publisher of Simon & Schuster, says, "Few singers have been as wide-ranging or as distinctive in their artistry. Linda Ronstadt has a singular voice, and that is true on the page as well."
