Hero Pilot Catches a Break on Late Library Book Fees

US Airways pilot Captain Chesley Sullenberger safely landed a plane in the Hudson River last month. Apparently there was also a book that Captain Sullenberger had checked out in the cargo hold of the plane. The book was checked out from a library near Danville.

Responsible Captain Sullenberger called the Danville library asking for an extension to return the book. The library officials responded by waiving all the late fees and dedicate a replacement book to him. It was well deserved.

So, there you have it. Save a plane full of people and all your library late fees will be forgiven.
