Sarah Palin Biography Becomes Bestseller

Posted on September 4, 2008

Sarah Palin was an unknown to the vast majority of American's before John McCain chose her as his running mate. Since then we have learned a few things about Palin but many people are looking for more information. There was just one book out there about her so it isn't a surprise that the book is quickly becoming a bestseller. The book is a biography written by Kaylene Johnson called Sarah: How a Hockey Mom Turned Alaska's Political Establishment on Its Ear.

The L.A. Times' reports that Kaylene Johnson writes frequently about Alaska. The article says she interviewed Palin's childhood basketball coach, aerobics instructor, pastor and siblings.

Based on the book's title it clearly has a lot more to do with Alaskan politics than national politics. Political books can be published pretty quickly these days so it will be interesting to see whether any other Palin books - postive or negative - are rushed to print. In the meantime, you can expect Kaylene Johnson to sell lots and lots of copies of her Sarah biography./p>
