Allegiant, the final book in the Divergent trilogy, arrived in bookstores this week. Author Veronica Roth talked to the AP about the series and the film, starring Kate Winslet and Shailene Woodley, which arrives in theaters on March 21, 2014. She says having the film shot in Chicago made it feel authentic. She says she knew how the series would end before the wrote the final book, but she did not always know how she would get there. She says it is not easy to let the series go, but she is happy to be able to share it with everyone. She describes finishing the Divergent trilogy as "bittersweet." Take a look:

Veronica also wrote about Kate Winslet playing Jeanine Matthews on her blog in July. She says, "I was able to see a little bit of Kates Jeanine while on set, and she was incredibly good. I feel like this should shock no one, considering her level of talent, but still: wow. And even better? As a person, she is so warm and lovely."
